Busworld India 2015 from 28-30.04.2015 in BCEC Mumbai

The big potential of the Indian bus and coach market
India’s bus industry makes over 50,000 buses & coaches every year according to SIAM (trade organisation), making it the world’s second largest market.  In March 2012 SIAM reported that there were 1.667.000 buses in circulation or only one bus for every 700 people. This means that India has a lower level of bus penetration than any other large country in the world. No need to say that it therefore also has a huge potential. With the liberalization of the Indian market & the increase in the well informed commuter base, many foreign companies have started investing in India.

The introduction of modern technologies like ITS, GPS, Hybridisation, fuel efficiency etc. has created a huge demand in more than 200 Indian cities and towns. These technologies have resulted in improved safety, reduced traffic congestion and improved energy efficiency while ensuring green environment coupled with economic productivity. Still, a lot needs to be done.
The Indian bus industry will surely reap a lot of profit in the time to come in a level-playing field.

6th Busworld India in 2015
Started in 2005, Busworld India kept growing year after year and is organising its exhibition, like the previous edition, in BCEC in Mumbai from 28. till 30. April 2015. In 2013, 93% of the exhibitors stated that they were satisfied of their participation and were returning in 2015. Busworld India expects to grow both in number of exhibitors and visitors.

The Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)
Established in 1991, the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is the biggest exhibition venue in Mumbai. The BCEC comprises of 4 halls that occupies over 45,000 sq.mts of exhibit area and is centrally air-conditioned. Centrally located and within few minutes away from the nearby recreational centers, restaurants and hotels, the BCEC is ideal for hosting the international Busworld India exhibition.
