A WARM WELCOME AWAITS INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
When Euro Bus Expo 2014 – the leading dedicated trade fair for the bus and coach industry in Europe this year – opens its doors on 4th November, it will extend its usual warm welcome to international visitors from all over the world.
Euro Bus Expo takes place every two years and sees leading vehicle manufacturers and a whole range of industry suppliers showcasing their latest products and services to the passenger transport operators and transport authorities. Euro Bus 2014 will once again be hosted at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, the UK’s second city.
The free to attend three day show, which takes place Tuesday 4th – Thursday 6th November, is already a sell out in exhibition space terms and will feature over 250 exhibitors. With the focus firmly on the future of passenger transport, Euro Bus Expo 2014 will provide an excellent platform for exhibitors from every part of the industry supply chain in 25,000m2 of hall space in one of Europe’s leading exhibition centres.
all the latest mini, midi and full size buses and coaches from leading manufacturers and dealers will be on display, providing a unique opportunity to see all the latest models under one roof. Ultra low emission vehicles – hybrid, electric and gas powered – are likely to feature strongly at EBE 2014.
Euro Bus Expo 2014 will also once again feature a number of zones, providing exhibitor clusters and making navigation easier for visitors to the show. Dedicated Technology and Environmental Zones will give visitors the opportunity to see all the latest developments that are increasingly shaping and reducing the environmental impact across the European passenger transport sector, while the Accessibility Zone will highlight on-going innovations that are making transport by buses and coaches ever more accessible to all user groups.
A stimulating and informative education programme will be running across all three days as an integral part of the show, taking place both on the Environmental Stage and Master Class Theatre.
The NEC Birmingham is arguably the best located exhibition venue in the UK, with Birmingham International Airport just a 15 minute transfer by monorail/covered skywalk. Rail connections are excellent too, with central London just 75 minutes away thanks to regular direct fast trains from Birmingham International Railway Station. Located in the heart of the country, Birmingham is also at the centre of the UK motorway hub, with all the major cities within easy reach.
There is a wide range of accommodation options to suit all budgets and tastes and there is plenty of things for international visitors to see and do outside of show hours. Birmingham itself is an exceptionally vibrant cultural and entertainment centre, whilst Stratford-Upon-Avon – birthplace of William Shakespeare, Ironbridge – the cradle of the Industrial Revolution and Warwick Castle are just some of the internationally renowned attractions within an hour’s travel of the NEC.
Speaking ahead of the show, which opens in just over two months time, Show Director Mark Griffin commented; “At EBE 2012 we welcomed visitors from over 40 countries, reflecting how the show has firmly established itself as a key date in the passenger transport sector’s calendar in both Europe and beyond. The sell out Euro Bus Expo 2014 show promises to be ever better, with much to see from an international visitor perspective.
