Van Hool celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, a fact which will not pass unnoticed at Busworld 2017 in Kortrijk.
- Van Hool presents:
- 4 2018 TX models: TX11 Alicron, TX16 Astron, TX17 Altano, TDX27 Astromega: some changes in the look, already implemented in the Astromega in 2017, will now also be applied to the other TX models. More at Busworld 2017.
- 4 2018 EX models: EX17 H, EX16 M for the UK (a première), EX16 M, EX15 H: the production side of the vd EX dual-axle vehicles has been completely revamped, achieving significant weight reductions. On the outside, the entire EX range has seen some style developments throughout. In the interior, the cockpit has been transformed and a new dashboard design installed. More at Busworld 2017.
- 2 City’s:
- City 18m diesel hybrid for Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK): this will be unveiled in the presence of government representatives and the operator from Belfast. Belfast has ordered 30 of these vehicles.
- City 24m Trolley for Linz (Austria) : this 24-metre trolley also has an independentbattery, whichallows the vehicle to bedisconnectedfrom the grid and continue on its wayautonomously. Linz has ordered 20 of thesevehicles.
- Vehicles will be presented at a totally new stand which particularly highlights the company’s dynamic, touching on its 70th anniversary. In the design of the new 2000m² stand, a great deal of attention was devoted to making it a welcoming and informative place for visitors. It is also designed to show the vehicles (10 in number!) to even greater advantage
