Rimini will host IBE Intermobility Future Ways on 24–26 November 2026. Italian Exhibition Group’s professional event focuses on bus and coach transport and shared mobility. Alongside vehicles and technology, visitors will find a conference programme and opportunities for test drives.

Bus manufacturers taking part
The announced line-up includes Daimler Buses, IVECO BUS, MAN, Scania, Irizar and Volvo Buses, together with Isuzu, King Long, Otokar and VDL Bus Group. Yutong and Alfabus are among the new participants.
Specialist bodybuilders and equipment companies will exhibit alongside the manufacturers: Aveuro International, Carind, Gruppo D’Auria, Indcar, Mercus and Tremonia Mobility. Their participation highlights the adaptation of vehicles to particular operating requirements, rather than simply the choice of a standard bus model.
What the programme offers transport operators
Fleet renewal, vehicle management, the energy transition and digital services are among the main topics at IBE 2026. Discussions will cover real-time transport monitoring and contactless payment solutions for journeys.
Manufacturers will provide vehicles for road testing throughout the exhibition. Professional visitors will have opportunities both to drive the vehicles and to travel on board as passengers.

Shared mobility and better connections between transport modes
The forum opens on 24 November with the presentation of the Future Ways 2026 report. The following day focuses on combining public transport with rail connections, shared vehicles and on-demand services.
Further topics include transport provision in areas with limited travel options, accessibility and data for mobility management. EIT Urban Mobility will have a stand and will join the jury of the Lorenzo Cagnoni Startup Award.
From the rail sector, RFI will discuss cooperation with the regions in developing intermodality, while Trenitalia will focus on service integration and accessibility. Nordcom will address transport poverty. Tper and Lime will contribute to the discussion on the relationship between public transport and shared mobility.
Research covering 50 cities and transport poverty
Beyond the discussions, the preliminary programme includes specific analytical publications: the tenth national report on shared mobility and Euromobility’s twentieth study of sustainable mobility in 50 Italian cities. Indicators compared include motorisation, public transport, shared services and air quality.
Additional topics include the second report on transport poverty, involving the Transport Poverty Lab, and mobility developments in China. This complements the focus on new buses and digital technology with analysis of service provision and access to transport.
