World Metrorail Congress was created to bring the world’s urban rail community together to share best practice and address industry challenges and future innovations. Fast forward 12 years and the event now boasts a large exhibition floor alongside 4 conferences and 2 seminar theatres, catering for the whole rail value chain.
From the very first year that we launched World Metrorail Congress, it proved to be a hit with metro operators and their partners. CEO’s of metros wanted a high level meeting place where they could openly discuss their strategies and challenges, network, and do business. And that’s exactly what we gave them.
Building on the initial success of World Metrorail Congress, we introduced other co-located events including LightRail, RailTel and RailPower. This allowed urban transport operators to cover challenges in improving safety, efficiency and capacity of their rail systems, all in one meeting place.
Thousands of deals have been made and influenced at the show over the years. Because the conferences cover high level strategic topics, it is attended by C level executives and decision makers who in turn hold the power to do deals and drive the global rail industry forward.
