The first edition of Busworld Latin America looks promising
From 5 to 7 December 2016, Busworld is organising its very first edition of Busworld Latin America. The exhibition will take place in the Plaza Mayor in Medellin, the second biggest city in Colombia.
Busworld is very proud to announce the participation of both international and domestic top brands in the bus and coach industry. In total, the exhibition will have more than 50 exhibitors, coming from 16 different countries from all over the world.
The vehicles will be presented by Daimler, Scania, GM Isuzu, Busscar, Volvo, Golden Dragon, Inconcar, Megabuses, Otokar, Carrocerias JGB, etc. Busworld Latin America will be the place to be to see a vast range of vehicles, all together under one roof.
Also from the suppliers’ and accessories’ side, important names like Fasching, Hanover Displays, Voith, Funtoro and many more, will be presenting their products.
The exhibition will be opened on 5 December by the Belgian Minister of Mobility, François Bellot and the Colombian Minister of Transport, Jorge Eduardo Rojas. Later that day, they both will have a speaking slot in the Busworld Academy Congress.
Like in all the other Busworld exhibitions, a congress programme will be offered by Busworld Academy, Busworld’s own knowledge platform. The congress ‘Future Oriented Bus & Coach Transport in Latin America’ will address different topics such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and integrated multi modal public transport, zero emission buses, safety in bus and coach and last but not least coach tourism.
