With the theme of ‘Innovating Transport for Liveable Cities,’ the LTA-UITP Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE) 2016 will throw a spotlight on innovative solutions for urban transport systems.
Asia has seen a massive acceleration in urbanisation in recent years and is now home to 17 megacities, which is expected to grow to an unprecedented 22 by 2030, creating diverse urban challenges. Now is a good time then for the urban mobility sector to come together for discussions on connectivity and urban transport, improving quality of service for commuters, safety, congestion management, green and sustainable transport systems, future mobility, smart solutions and more.
