At the awards ceremony, which took place on January 28 in Madrid, the jury, integrated by more of 40 members of the transport sector, appointed the winner:the innovative Next Indcar model.
It must be highlighted that Indcar has receives 3 awards in the last four years, being the most awarded company in Spain by Viajeros magazine in its category. In 2012, the model Wing was awarded Minibus of the Year and in 2013 was Mago2 which won the category of best midibus.
Indcar, family company founded over 100 years ago in Arbucias, is nowadays the bodybuilder company of reference offering global mobility solutions within the minibus sector. With a turnover of over 25M Euros, 85% of its production is for export and has a production forecast in 2015 of more than 500 units. Indcar group consists of 3 companies that employs more than 200 workers. Indcar has a production plant in Romania, in operation since July 2013, and two plants in Arbucias (Spain).
During the last years Indcar has adapted itself to needs of each market, expanding its range of products and customers. This has allowed Indcar to continue focusing on growth, innovation, quality and service for all vehicles.
The new model midibus Next with capacity between 28 and 42 seats, manufactured with chassis IVECO, MAN and MERCEDES, has been very successful in different European fairs.
In January, Indcar has received the most important request in recent years with this new model. An order of 126 units for the French market that promises a great future to the new model of the Catalan company.
The development of the Next model has been carried out over more than a year with above one million Euros investment.
With Next, Indcar has become one of the leading companies at European level in the body manufacturing sector of mini & midi buses.
