Conference New trends in Mobility
Under the high patronage of the Netherlands EU Presidency and with the support of the Royal Dutch Transport Federation (KNV), UITP is organising a Conference on “New Trends in Mobility” on 28-29 April 2016 in The Hague in The Netherlands.
The Conference will address the need for sustainable mobility and changing travel patterns. More specifically the conference will be focused on three issues:
- Digitalisation – Ticketing and passenger information systems : “What framework could help developing further solutions for the public transport sector?”
- Investment in sustainable transport systems : “New financing models for new technologies”
- Trends in travel patterns: “Striking the balance between mass transit and individualisation
