First UITP meeting with new European Commissioner for Transport

On 26 February, UITP representatives met the new European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc for the first time. This first meeting was the occasion to present UITP, its members and its policy priorities. Funding and investment tools, sustainable urban mobility, and integrated ticketing and travel information were on the agenda of this first exchange of views.

The Commissioner appeared open to UITP’s concerns, and ready to exchange and discuss. She also seems very interested in urban mobility issues, and everything related to digitalisation.
